Welcome to my website! I've never studied media before, but I generally enjoy to watch films and TV, and I am interested in how the films are produced/made. Sometimes I like to go out with my camera and practice different shots, to try to understand how to make shots look different and more interesting.
A particular area I am looking forward to is learning about more camera shots and editing different pieces. I think that if I learn and understand the different types of shots used in films and TV, then editing it afterwards will bring it all together at the end and add suspense or tension to the piece. However, although I am excited about learning more about editing, I am nervous about it as I have never edited any videos before or used any of the tools associated with editing media.
My task for this year is to create two 30 second advertisements for a deodorant aimed at a unisex target audience. I am looking forward to seeing how creative I can get with this task and researching how to do it in order to get a good piece and overall learning more by practicing.
